Roads reopen in Harlem after suspicious situation

HARLEM, GA (WFXG) - Roads are back open in Harlem after police investigated a suspicious situation.

The roads impacted were Henry Miller Street and Milledgeville Road, as well as Lamkin Road.

Harlem Dept. Public Safety Director Gary Jones said their crews were investigating a potential bomb threat. Jones said a man was trying to hook-up a coffee can to a church sign in order to charge his cell phone for free. Officials believe the situation is no longer a threat.
