Man arrested, charged in Aiken Huddle House robbery

AIKEN, SC (WFXG) - A 39-year-old man is charged in connection with the robbery of the Aiken Huddle House earlier this week.

Investigators with the Aiken Department of Public Safety say Robert Theotis-Lamond Inabinett of Trenton, S.C. robbed the restaurant early Wednesday.

He was arrested later that day during a traffic stop, according to a release. Officers found cocaine and marijuana in his vehicle during the stop.

Inabinett is charged with strong-armed robbery, kidnapping, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, simple possession of marijuana, open container and other traffic offenses, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.

Wednesday's robbery was not the first at the Aiken Huddle House. The restaurant has been robbed four other times this year.

Officers say they are investigating whether Inabinett was involved in previous robberies in the City of Aiken.
