AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - At the Augusta Richmond County Judicial Center, Brian Prince announced he's ready to serve the citizens of District 127.
The Augusta native said he plans to address economic empowerment, improving education, and integrating military families in the district home residents in Richmond and Jefferson counties.
The seat was left vacant after the death of Representative Quincy Murphy. Just last week Murphy's wife, Diane Murphy, announced her run for the seat.
Prince said he looks forward to enhancing this diverse district made up of the military base, residential neighborhoods, rural communities and small businesses.
"I'll try to bring back a sense of family; a sense of encouragement know to let that district know that we can improve economically: bringing small businesses and large businesses to that area.
