18-wheeler overturned on I-20

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

First responders pulled a driver from the cab of an 18-wheeler after it turned onto its side on Interstate 20.

He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.

There isn't any word yet about what caused the crash.

The tractor trailer fell on its side late Tuesday afternoon on the west bound Interstate 20 ramp coming from 520.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office dispatch center has confirmed a tractor trailer is currently overturned on flyover ramp to Atlanta on Bobby Jones Expressway.

Dispatch said the incident is near Interstate 20.
