CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

A man was trapped inside his camper-trailer on Tuesday morning after a tree fell on it.

It happened at the mobile home park on Ogeechee Road just south of Tower Drive about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Carlos Class was asleep inside the camper when the tree fell.

"It was making a noise, like a picture coming down, pop, pop, pop, pop. I was thinking I was having a dream."

Class was trapped in his bedroom. He got out with help of neighbor, a volunteer firefighter. No one was injured.

That tree also came down on his neighbor's trailer, falling at the foot of his bed as he slept. Electricity had to be cut to both homes.

The American Red Cross is helping four adults who were put out of their homes because of the damage.

The park landlord told the Red Cross that a family of three adults in one mobile home that was destroyed will move to another mobile home within the same mobile home park. The adult plans to stay with family members until he can find a place of his own.
