Local donor gives gift that will keep on giving

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - A local donor gave the Salvation Army the gift that will keep on giving.

Andy and Connie Jones, of Gerald Jones Auto Group, donated $100,000 to the Salvation Army of Augusta's Center of Hope.

The money will be used to begin an endowment, called the 'Gerald and Betty Jones Center of Hope Endowment.' It will give financial support to service programs, such as an emergency shelter, drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs and a daily soup line.
