Three adults and two dogs escaped injury during a house fire in Phoenix early Friday morning.

A Phoenix Fire Department spokesman said the fire was reported at 1:48 a.m. near 21st and Orangewood avenues.

Firefighters found the fire in the home's attic and stopped it from spreading throughout the house.

No one was reported injured, and the department's Crisis Response Team was assisting the family with finding temporary shelter.

The cause of the fire was under investigation, the spokesman said.
