PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Approximately 50 people marched Monday in opposition to Arizona's landmark immigration bill, known as SB 1070.

The law requires that police, while enforcing other laws, question the immigration status of those they suspect are in the country illegally. It was signed into law three years ago.

The Puente Movement organized Monday's event. They say the law has resulted in more racial profiling and deportations that have separated families.

Protesters went from Steele Indian School Park located at 300 E. Indian School Rd. to ICE Field office located at 2035 N. Central Ave.
