Investigators: Toledo duplex likely set fire

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Smoke could be seen for miles coming from a house fire in south Toledo Sunday morning.

Firefighters arrived around 6 a.m. to flames shooting from a home on the 900 block of Harding Drive, near Broadway Street.

Crews on the scene say the home, which appeared to be a duplex, was vacant.

The fire started on the second floor, spreading to the attic.

Investigators believe the blaze may be a case of arson, after discovering multiple small fires throughout the home.

An investigation is underway.

No injuries were reported.
