Man facing charges for sexually abusing child

BURLINGTON, KY (FOX19) -

A Florence, KY man is arrested on sodomy charges.

Officers say they charged Matthew King with sodomy after an investigation revealed that he allegedly engaged with deviant sexual behavior with a 4-year-old in June of 2013.

Officers report that incident came to light after the child exhibited unusual behavior at daycare.

King, who is 25, was arrested on Monday. Officers say King was a friend of the child's family.

Sodomy is a Class A felony.
