Woman assaulted after altercation in downtown Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A 21-year-old woman was assaulted after an altercation over the weekend in downtown Cincinnati.

According to an incident report, the victim and a friend were involved in an altercation with a group of girls on Fountain Square late Friday night. The group of girls started kicking and punching the woman in the facial area. 

The woman suffered a concussion and was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

So far, no charges have been filed.
