HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

The Butler County Sheriff's Office announced an undercover drug investigation that resulted in the seizure of more than 150 pounds of marijuana.

Vidal Gallegos and Mario Vasquez-Rulz were arrested Sunday night for various drug-related offenses in connection with the incident. Cash and a Chevy Tahoe were also seized during the investigation.

According to Sheriff Richard Jones during a news conference Monday, this was "one of many large busts made in Butler County."

Both suspects are facing felony drug possession and trafficking charges.

Jones said Gallegos and Vasquez-Rulz told investigators they were living here illegally and were being interviewed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
