US Marshals arrest fugitive wanted in AZ child sex crimes

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A man accused of child sex abuse in Arizona has been arrested in Illinois by U.S. Marshals.

A warrant for Shawn Wayne LaBarge's arrest was issued on May 2013 out of Yavapai County.

The U.S. Marshals Service in Arizona said investigators learned LeBarge was in Ridge Farms, IL. He was found on the back porch of a home in Ridge Farm and was taken into custody about 9 p.m. Thursday.

The U.S. Marshals Service said LaBarge has been charged with numerous sex offenses including four counts of sexual assault on a child and one count of continuous sexual abuse on a child.
