LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Entertainment news website TMZ reported Thursday that pop star Britney Spears' plans to become a headliner on the Las Vegas Strip are a done deal.

According to TMZ, Spears will announce her new Planet Hollywood show in several weeks.

"Sources connected to the deal tell us Britney will bring a 'cool, hip, club-like show' to Planet Hollywood," according to the article. "We're told it will not feel like a run-of-the-mill concert."

The deal also includes appearances by Spears at various pool parties and at Planet Hollywood's nightclub, according to TMZ.

FOX5 asked Caesars Entertainment, the company that owns Planet Hollywood, to confirm TMZ's report, but they declined to comment. However, in February, the company told MORE that it was "actively engaged" in talks with Spears.
