Man pulls out fake grenade at bar, police say

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A man who went out to celebrate Thursday night is in jail for causing a scare with a fake grenade.

Police said the man, identified as Kahri M. Whitehead, 21, was causing a disturbance and the bouncer tried kicking him out.

That's when investigators said Whitehead pulled out the fake grenade. The bouncer thought it might be real and called police.

Whitehead is charged with aggravated assault and a possessing a prohibited weapon.

Police did not reveal the name of the bar where the incident occurred.
