Holyoke fatal accident victim identified

HOLYOKE, MA (WSHM) -

The Holyoke Police Department Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal accident involving a car and a tractor-trailer. The Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit is providing assistance with this investigation.

Holyoke police have confirmed the victim's identity as Suzanne Robbins, of Hinsdale, MA.

It happened on Cherry Street outside the Holyoke Soldiers Home.

According to Holyoke Police, two passengers in the car were taken to Baystate Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver and a passenger of the tractor-trailer remained on scene. The truck is owned by the "Performance Corporation." Their injuries are unknown.

Holyoke police are on scene of an accident, in the area of Cherry Street, near the Holyoke Soldiers Home.

So far, no citations have been issued and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

    State police said they've identified the mother of a baby whose body was found in a reservoir in Harwinton.
