Spartanburg Public Safety officers said a drunk woman at a local bar charged at security with a stun gun when she was asked to leave.
Officers said they were called out to Chiefs, a bar on John B. White Sr. Boulevard, early Saturday morning. According to reports, security personnel claimed Beverly Cockill, 48, became "extremely intoxicated" and was asked to leave by officers there.
She then charged at security with a pink stun gun, pointing it at the security officer's face, police said.
The security officer at the bar was an off-duty Spartanburg airport police officer, according to reports.
When officers arrived, they said Cockill was still fighting inside the bar and was screaming and cursing as she was handcuffed, according to the incident report.
Cockill faces charges of resisting arrest and public disorderly conduct.
