Man wanted in connection to 3rd Avenue shooting

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man in connection to a Monday shooting on 3rd Avenue in Augusta.

RCSO said around 8:26, they responded to the 2100 block of 3rd Avenue in reference to shots fired and one person shot.

They discovered Marion Henley, 25, suffering from a single gunshot wounded to his chest. He was transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

Investigators have learned the victim has an ongoing feud with the suspect, Herman Lapatrick Brown, 23. Brown is accused of shooting Henley.

Warrants have been issued for Brown on one count of aggravated assault and one county of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
