Final Riverwalk suspect denied bond; back in Augusta

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

UPDATE:

Kevin Richardson has been denied bond. Richardson made his first appearance in a Richmond County Courtroom around 2pm. "I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I did not commit these acts," said Richardson.

Richardson was wanted for the beating and robbery of Ashlee Solesbee and Wesley Spires along the Augusta Riverwalk earlier this month.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Kevin Richardson, the second suspect in the Riverwalk beating attack earlier this month. Richardson was extradited back to Richmond County Tuesday after turning himself in Indiana.

Richardson is being charged with 2 counts of Robbery by Force and 2 counts Of Aggravated Assault in the robbery and beating of Ashlee Solesbee and Wesley Spires on the Riverwalk.

Richardson is in the Richmond County Jail waiting for his first appearance in court.
