MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Two talented performers from Memphis rocked "The Voice" stage Monday during a nationwide broadcast. Sarah Simmons and Kris Thomas waited Tuesday afternoon to find out if they won America's vote.

The top 12 performed Monday to see who gets announced Tuesday as the top ten – Simmons and Thomas both have something to prove.

Simmons' coach Adam Levine selected an upbeat song for her compared to her last performance. Simmons sang Brandi Carlile's song "The Story".

Thomas continued to show his incredible range with The Jackson 5's "I'll Be There".

"I feel more relaxed than last week. Just going in with an open mind. I'm kind of comfortable with whatever happens, but I really want to get through," said Thomas.

Nationwide voting ended 9 a.m. central time.

On Tuesday's show, the coaches cannot save their favorites as only America's vote will decide.

"I think we are all going to just relax together. I think that's one of the most important thing of the survival mode," said Simmons.

Viewers can expect to see group performances by the contestants and a couple of highlights from the talent so far.

Make sure to watch and see if Simmons and Thomas continue singing tonight on "The Voice" at 7 p.m. on WMC - TV 5.
