Update: (May 14) Two suspects have been extradited back to Richmond County accused of two separate assaults in Augusta. Robey Moses and Domonique Hale were arrested in Newberry, SC last week in connection to two incidents in downtown Augusta. Moses has been named as a suspect in the Riverwalk beating the left Wesley Spires and Ashley Solesbee badly beaten. Spires remains in the hospital today.

Update: (May 13) Robey Moses, 21, was arrested in Newberry, South Carolina. Richmond County deputies said they knew he was in a home in that area. The Newberry Sheriff's Office and SLED went to the home and arrested Moses. He is being held in the Newberry County jail, waiving extradition.

"We're hoping by tomorrow he will be in our custody," said Lt. Calvin Chew. "But you never know, you know, at one point somebody can say we'll waive an extradition, and at the next minute they say they're going to fight extradition. So until it happens, we don't really know for sure."

Investigators believe Moses was involved in the Riverwalk robbery and beating of two people on May 3rd. Both victims were hospitalized. One of the victims is still in the hospital. Wesley Spires suffered a fractured skull and is bleeding from the brain. His family tells WFXG, he now has an infection, but the pressure from the bleeding has gone down. The family thanks the community for their support.

Much like the Richmond County Sheriff's Office thanks the community for their help in the case, as investigators continue to search for a second suspect. Kevin Richardson is also wanted in the attack. He was identified hours after an anonymous donor offered a $10,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest.

"The public helps quite a bit in a lot of our cases as well," Lt. Chew said. "Sometimes it's just that last piece of the puzzle, and that one little tip puts it all together."

A second suspect has been identified and arrested in connection to an assault at the Augusta Riverwalk.

Robey Moses has been taken into custody in Newberry, SC. He's charged with two counts of robbery by force and aggravated assault.

Moses as well as Dominique Hale have been identified in another aggravated assault that happened the day before the Riverwalk attack.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office credits the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) Fugitive Task Force, Newberry Police Department and the Newberry Sheriff's Department with the apprehension of Moses and Hale.
