(RNN) – A new parenting device has been making its rounds on the web, but sadly this diaper wetting notification gadget is just a concept.

Huggies in Brazil has been promoting a new "device" called TweetPee which would monitor the wetness levels of a baby's diaper, then send off a tweet notification linked to an iPhone.

The plastic device, shaped like a little blue bird, would attach to a baby's diaper, then tweet an alert when it sensed an increase in humidity to let parents know the diaper needs to be changed.

The device is connected to a mobile app which keeps track of the number of diapers used so parents can make sure they don't run out.

The app also offers the ability to reorder more diapers.

However - the gadget isn't real, it's just a concept, but the app will be launched in July.

Huggies got in touch with Adweek, giving them a statement to let them know the clip on sensor is only a concept but the app will be a helpful tool for parents purchasing diapers.

"Huggies Brazil is excited to announce we will launch TweetPee in Brazil this July - a new iPhone app that is designed to help parents better keep track of the volume of diapers they use and provide easy integration with online retailers to make life easier for busy moms and dads. In conjunction with the TweetPee app's debut in Brazil, feature videos will highlight the experiences of 10 moms and dads who use the app to streamline and more effectively plan for their purchases.

In the promotional video referenced, the clip-on humidity sensor is intended merely as a concept device to help showcase these 10 parents' experience with the app. It will not be made available for purchase, nor are we suggesting parents are unable or too busy to notice when their babies' diapers need changing! Please visit huggiestp.com.br for more information as news develops."

There's no word on if, or when TweetPee will be released in the U.S., or, if TweetPoop is up and coming.
