KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A new mother was killed in a party bus accident on Interstate 35 over the weekend and there was a gathering Wednesday evening to collect donations for her fiancé and baby daughter.

Jamie Frecks' family is doing its best to move on since the tragedy and that means taking care of her young daughter Emma. Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. the family held an event for her at Loose Park, collecting donations for Emma and Frecks' fiancé.

The family was requesting items like diapers, wipes and clothes for a child 3 months and older.

If you'd like to make a monetary donation, you can do so at:

First Legends Bank and Trust
C/O Jamie Frecks Memorial Fund
10900 Parallel Parkway
Kansas City, KS

The First State Bank and Trust in Tonganoxie and Basehor, KS, are also accepting donations.

An emergency door of a party bus opened late Saturday and Frecks fell out on I-35 near 18th Street. She was out for a rare night of fun with 15 girlfriends for a bachelorette party when she somehow fell out and was hit by three cars.
