SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

According to Longmeadow police, an arrest warrant has been issued for John K Williams III, 54, for using waste oil to seal an elderly resident's driveway.

According to police, Williams and another person who is not identified at this time, offered to seal an elderly resident's driveway with materials that were later determined to be waste oil.

After completing the job, the two suspects demanded the resident to pay them $1200 for their  services and proceeded to cash the check moments later at a local bank.

Police say Williams was identified through bank photos and a witness ID as being involved in scamming an elderly resident on April 23rd

Williams is wanted for Larceny by False Pretense and Defacement of Property.
