CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Two teens have been arrested after police say they assaulted a woman and threatened to shoot a fireman.

Elmwood Place Fire Department personnel were on the scene of a medical emergency in the 6000 block of Vine Street on Saturday afternoon when the incident occurred.

While responding to a medical emergency, a fireman observed two young men. One of the young men was assaulting a female juvenile by slamming the victim's head into a wall. The fireman yelled at the suspect to stop but the man slammed the victim's head one more time.

Authorities say that the suspect then threatened to shoot the fireman in the head.

The fireman contacted police who quickly arrived at the scene.

An officer approached the two suspects and attempted to detain them near his patrol car. Both suspects shoved the officer and fled on foot.

After an extensive foot pursuit, the two suspects were located at an apartment in the 200 block of Township Avenue. The suspects were arrested without incident.

Officers say there was no gun recovered after the arrest.

One of the suspects has been identified as 19-year-old James Wesley Robinson. A 16-year-old minor was also arrested.

Both subjects are being charged with misconduct at an emergency scene, aggravated menacing, obstructing official business and assault.

The suspects are being processed and will be transported to Hamilton County Justice Center as well as the Hamilton County Juvenile Center.
