Motorcycle stunt injury at James Brown Arena

Sgt. Monica Belser, of the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, said the victim remains in critical condition from a severe head injury. Belser said investigators do not plan to release the identity of the victim until his family is notified.

However, the performer was listed as Kenny Steinke, 26, in a Facebook post on Monster Truck Entertainment's page. The statement thanked fans for "all the prayers."

A motor cross driver, part of the Monster X Tour, is in critical condition after losing control of his vehicle Saturday night.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, the driver was performing at the James Brown Arena when he attempted to jump a stunt ramp, lost control and fell on the ramp.

The driver was immediately rushed to Georgia Regents Medical Center due to serious injuries, police said.
