BAYOU CORNE, LA (WAFB) -

Officials in Assumption Parish say Texas Brine is getting ready to move the western wall of the sinkhole containment berm.

Because of continued movement in a portion of the existing western berm wall, crews plan to move it further west and then extend the northern and southern berm walls.

The next briefing for community members is scheduled for Wednesday at the Assumption Parish Community Center at 6 p.m.
