Springfield Twp. fire lieutenant fired for lewd behavior

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A Springfield Township fire lieutenant has been fired for lewd behavior.

Township trustees voted unanimously to fire Jason Bowman of Swanton for conduct unbecoming of an officer, dereliction of duty, and sexual harassment.

According to Fire Chief Barry Cousino the termination stems from a complaint by another Springfield Township firefighter who said Bowman showed her a picture of his genitalia while on duty and later sent her a sexually explicit text message.

During the investigation , the department scanned Bowman's work computer and found pornographic videos.

The case is still under investigation.
