After tragedy struck he and family Worth County baseball senior Eli Reddell did the best he could to carry on his baseball career and it seems like it paid off.

The senior pitcher signed his letter of intent to attend Andrew College earlier this morning. Reddell was one of 6 involved in a fatal car accident back in 2011.

One that took the life of his 10 year old cousin. He says it was a tough time in his life but the lessons learned after the crash has propelled in the other facets of life especially on the baseball diamond.

"I like being close. I like being able to come home of the weekends to see my family. My Dad went there. it's a nice school, real small. I wont get in trouble and it will get it ready for college experience until I go move on from Andrew," said Reddell.

Reddell played several different position for the Rams but will pitch at Andrew.

Meanwhile, two Turner Co. Lady Rebels basketball players signed with Florida State College in Jacksonville. Zenia Coley and Antania Graddic both signed full ride scholarships.

The two girls will enroll during the summer. Their new head coach Kristy Ward from Florida State College says she plans to build her team around Coley and Graddic
