Police ID body found in Springboro creek

SPRINGBORO, OH (FOX19) -

A woman's body was found on Saturday evening in a Springboro creek.

Springboro Police say that the body was found around 7:30 p.m. on the bank of a creek. Authorities say the body was discovered just east of Meyers Creek Road and Factory Road.

The woman has been identified as 46-year-old Springboro resident, Paula Scott.

The coroner's office has stated that they believe the incident was accidental and that Scott's death resulted from her hitting her head while falling into the creek.

No foul play is expected
