Rogers loses state championship to Mentor

COLUMBUS, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The Rogers High School boys basketball team was unable to claim the Division I state championship Saturday night. They lost, 76-67 , to Mentor.

In Division III, The Ottawa Glandorf High School boys basketball team defeated Versaille, 67-46, to win the state championship..

Senior T.J. Metzger led his team,  scoring 36 points and tieing the record for most points in a championship game.

Ottawa Glandorf also won state titles in 2004 and 2008.

In Division IV Leipsic came up short in their bid for a state championship, losing to Villa Angela-St. Joseph, 87-63.
