OTTAWA COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A fire broke out at a home garage in Ottawa County Saturday morning.

Fire crews arrived on the scene around 9 a.m. to find smoke and flames on Reservation Line Road, in Curtice.

Together the Allen Clay Joint Fire District and Lake Township Fire Department battled the blaze on the detached garage.

Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading into the home or neighboring residences.

The strong heat from the fire caused some damage along the side of the home, however, the structure is in tact.

No word of any injuries from the fire.

The exact amount of damage caused is not yet determined.
