Missing Dayton 71-yr-old located by police

TROTWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

A missing Dayton man has been located by police.

Russell McFarland, 71, was last seen Thursday morning around 8 a.m. at his home on Early Road in Trotwood, Ohio. McFarland stated he was going to a car dealership on the west side of Columbus.

Officers said McFarland suffers from Alzheimer's and is in the beginning stages of Parkinson's disease.

On Thursday around 5p.m., authorities issued a statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert for him.

By late Thursday evening, he was located by the Columbus Police Department.
