AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -
Deputies in Richmond County need your help finding some thieves who hit an Augusta church.
The Pastor of The Church of Good Shepard on Walton Way reported the theft of a statue of the Risen Christ which was mounted on the
building on Tuesday. This statue is 5 feet tall and made of
fiberglass with a resin coating. It's gold in color with white worn spots on the
right side of the head and right arm.
Officials say there
may be some damage on the back where the statue was ripped off the bracket on
the wall.
