PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (CBS5) -

Prescott Valley police are seeking a hit-and-run driver after he hit a motorcyclist Tuesday night.

The motorcyclist, 51-year-old Steven Henry of Prescott Valley, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a Phoenix-area hospital.

The crash happened at Glassford Hill and Pav Way shortly after 9 p.m.

Henry was traveling northbound on Glassford Hill and the unidentified vehicle was heading southbound when it turned left onto Pav Way, in front of Henry's motorcycle, causing him to crash, police said.

The hit-and-run vehicle reportedly fled eastbound on Pav Way, officers said.

Police said they have an incomplete description of the hit-and-run vehicle. Witnesses described it as a beige or gold 1980s model, boxy four-door vehicle. The vehicle may have had chrome bumpers and trim. There were several occupants inside.

People with any information about the accident are urged to call authorities at 928-772-5150.
