NEW YORK, March 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Posillico, Inc. is proud to announce their Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 0.80 for 2013.  Posillico's stellar rating of 0.80 is 20% better than the nationwide average of 1.0 and is effective April 1, 2013.

A company's EMR determines how much they pay for workers' compensation insurance and helps measure the effectiveness of safety programs that are in place. EMR is calculated by comparing a company's annual losses in insurance claims against its policy premiums over a three-year period.

"As stated in our Mission Statement, Posillico strives to complete all projects safely, on time, on target, and on budget. No project is deemed successful unless it is completed safely. Our dedicated employees have always been our most valuable resource and their safety and well being is paramount to our continued success," said Joe K. Posillico, President/CEO at Posillico.

Posillico takes great pride in the health and safety of all of its employees. They have implemented numerous policies that are often more protective than the standards set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and have both created and hosted various training courses aimed at making their workforce some of the best trained and most knowledgeable in the industry.

Posillico has an in-house, state of the art training room where they offer 10 and 30-hour OSHA outreach courses, HAZWOPER 40-hour training and annual refreshers, and competent person training in topics such as confined space, excavation, cranes, and fall protection to name a few.
