NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
The Nashville dropoff location for a popular discount bus service is moving back across town after repeated complaints from riders and other businesses.
Megabus, which offers regional bus trips for as low as $1, will soon pick up and drop off passengers at a private parking lot downtown near the intersection of Fourth Avenue South and Elm Street.
Since the beginning of the year, its buses have been stopping along Nolensville Pike near the state fairgrounds, but the city has ordered them to move in a matter of weeks after many people expressed concerns about safety and traffic congestion.
Megabus made its original stop on Commerce Street downtown, but complaints from drivers and even other city buses forced the move from that location to Nolensville Pike.
Megabus officials say they're still looking for a permanent place to call home, but those specifics have not yet been released.
