According to the National Transportation Safety Board, the small jet that crashed in Thomson was a Hawker Beechcraft 390.
NTSB officials say it was also the same make and model as the plane that crashed in Indiana on Sunday.
The small jet that crashed in 2010, nearly killing NASCAR'S Jack Roush was also a Hawker Beechcraft 390.
The NTSB ruled the probable cause of that accident was the pilot's failure to successfully complete a turn around after a failed landing.
The NTSB says the same scenario played out in Thomson and in Indiana.
The NTSB tells Fox54 they are investigating all factors of these crashes.
The preliminary report of the Thomson crash shows there was no distress call from the crew before the plane crashed in Thomson.
