Shooting sends one person to the hospital

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Richmond County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened Saturday night near the Pebble Creek subdivision.

Investigators said one person was transported to a local hospital with no life threatening injuries.

They said the suspect is a black male with braids and was wearing a black shirt.

This is still an on-going investigation and we update this story as we get more information.
