Montgomery police investigating 16th homicide of 2013

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Montgomery Police Department confirms that it's working its 16th homicide of 2013 after a fatal shooting in the 1100 block of E. D. Nixon Avenue late Friday evening.

Multiple officers were called to the scene where they located the victim, 23-year-old Larry Wells, inside a home. Wells was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators have not released a motive and say no suspect/s are currently in custody.
