Couple drop baby off at drug court after police pursuit

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A police pursuit Thursday afternoon ended with two people in custody and a baby dropped off at drug court.

Metro police said officers with the Drug Enforcement Administration tried to pull over a vehicle on Brickdale Lane, but the driver took off.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol joined a pursuit down Briley Parkway onto County Hospital Road.

At one point, a DEA officer fired a shot at the car, but no one was hurt.

Eventually the car stopped and one person got out and was arrested.

The car stopped again at the Davidson County Drug Court and a person took a baby inside. The person was arrested.
