House fire sparked by Molotov cocktails, say police

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Nashville firefighters and police are investigating a house fire in Inglewood early Thursday morning.

The fire was reported at 5025 Inglewood Court around 3:30 a.m.

A neighbor saw a man throw two Molotov Cocktails against the house, said police. One of the fire bombs ignited, catching the house on fire.

Crews were able to extinguish the flames and contain it to the attic. There were three adults in the home, but no one was injured.

One firefighter suffered a minor injury when he stepped on some glass.

No arrests have been made.

Police said they believe the incident was a random act of violence.
