Project Jackson faces roadblock after Aiken County gives thumbs down

Project Jackson, the collection of retail, hospitality, and sports venues proposed to be built in North Augusta, faces a new hurdle.

The Aiken County Council rejected a motion Tuesday night that would have directed County funds to the project.

Some councilmembers cited a lack of information about the project in how they voted.
