Man accused of attempted rape of a teen

A North College Hill man has been arrested and charged with attempted rape.

According to police, Charles Stevens, 54, attacked a 14-year-old girl in the 1300 block of West Galbraith Road on Monday.

The attack was stopped by a male friend of the victim who fought Stevens off.

Officials say Stevens admitted to the offense. He is currently being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
