Aiken man arrested after foot chase near school

AIKEN, SC (WFXG) -

The Aiken Department of Public Safety has arrested a man who led officers on a foot chase near a school on Monday.

Tyrik Gerrard Bright has been charged with been charged with Failure to Comply with a lawful order of a Public Safety Officer, Possession with Intent to Distribute (PWID) Marijuana, PWID Marijuana within ½ Mile of a School, PWID Crack Cocaine, and PWID Crack Cocaine w/in ½ mile of a school.

Bright is jailed at the Aiken County Detention Center.
