Quilt dedicated in honor of slain gym owner

Posted: Updated:

Gym owner Joe Lengel may have died in a senseless crime, but he will never be forgotten. That is the message from his family and friends.

Loved ones packed the Crossfit Gym early Saturday morning to remember the gym owner, who was shot and killed outside his business back in November.

A huge quilt was dedicated to the family, which will hang inside of the gym to honor Lengel's memory.

The quilt is made up of tee shirts and was put together by other gym owners from around the world.

After the quilt dedication....the group got together for an intense work-out which was put together by Joe's sons.
