AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -
Friday
afternoon the Vein Guys identified the fifth person killed in the fiery
McDuffie County plane crash as 28-year-old Heidi McCorkle.
She was a
single mother with two young sons. She worked for the Vein Guys for five years;
she was their senior ultrasound technologist.
McCorkle and four of her co-workers at
the Vein Guys were killed during a plane crash in Thomson Wednesday.
Chief physician Stephen Roth leaves
behind a wife and two children, he helped co-found the clinic.
Kim Davidson had two teenage
daughters; she worked for the practice for five years.
Tiffany Porter, 28, was hired as an
ultrasound technologist on Monday. She was in the middle of training when she
was killed in the plane crash. She had only been working for the Vein Guys for
three days.
Forty-year-old Lisa Volpitto also died
in the wreck. Fox54 spoke with her husband David and he says they both worked
as contractors for the Vein Guys.
He says they normally traveled
together with Roth as anesthesiologists.
Volpitto also leaves behind her
14-year-old daughter Tessa.
The family
isn't ready to talk on camera yet but gave this statement to Fox54 about
Volpitto, "She was a special person that touched the hearts of so many
people. She was a wonderful, caring, compassionate, and beautiful wife and
mother who gave her all to everything she did. We are getting through this with
the support of family and friends. We
thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."
The visitation for Kim Davidson will
be Saturday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Hatcher Funeral Home in Langley, South
Carolina.
On Sunday the family will hold a
celebration of life beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Republican Baptist Church.
The families of other crash victims
that Fox54 spoke with say they haven't made plans for funerals yet because the
bodies are still in a lab outside Atlanta and the autopsies haven't been
completed.

The Vein Guys has identified all five of the victims in Wednesday night's fatal plane crash in a McDuffie County.
The five victims are identified as:
Dr. Steven Roth, Board Certified Vascular and General Surgeon
Tiffany Porter, Ultrasound Technologist
Lisa Volpitto, Vein Guys Certified Nurse Anesthetist
Heidi McCorkle, Senior Ultrasound Technologist
Kim Davidson, Patient Care Coordinator and Executive Assistant to Dr. Roth
The Vein Guys released the following statement regarding the loss of 5 of their employees:
"Our team is extremely concerned for the well being of the families left behind and our thoughts and
prayers are with them," said Kelly Vann, Chief Operating Officer of the Vein Guys. "We continue to be
deeply saddened at a loss so great."

who would like to show their support.
The visitation for Kim Davidson will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at
the Hatcher Funeral Home located at 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Langley, SC 29834. The service will
be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Republican Baptist Church located at 610
Republican Road, Edgefield, Clarks Hill, SC 29821.
