THOMSON, GA (WFXG) -
The family of one of the victims of the plane crash in McDuffie County has planned memorial services in her honor.
Kimberly Marie Davidson was killed when a plane she was a passenger on crashed in near the Thomson-McDuffie Regional Airport.
The family released an obituary:
Entered into rest on Wednesday, February 20th, 2013, Mrs. Kimberly
Marie Davidson, 43, wife of Mr. Robert Davidson, of 116 Summerlake
Drive, North Augusta.
Mrs. Davidson was born in Augusta, Georgia
and a 1987 graduate of Midland Valley High School. She was Dr. Stephen
Roth's administrative assistant for The Vein Guys with seven years of
service. She was member of Republican Baptist Church where she enjoyed
working in the nursery. Kimberly loved all outdoor activities with her
family, especially tubing and water skiing on the lake and biking with
her girls. Her family said that she was the "Best Mother".
Surviving with her husband, Robert, are her parents, Hugh O. Weathersbee
and Emily Joyce Hurt Weathersbee, both of North Augusta, SC; two
children: Bailey Reese Davidson and Tannah Marie Davidson, both of
North Augusta; two sisters, Julie Johnson (Keith), Murrells Inlet, SC
and Mia Felker (Tommy), Jacksonville, FL; two nieces, Emily Johnson and
Tiffany Hammett; two nephews: Vincent Felker and Bryan Johnson and a
great nephew, Trenton Johnson.
A Celebration of life service will be on Sunday at 1:30 at Republican Baptist Church with Rev. Lance Thomas officiating.
"The Girls" of the Vein Guys are asked to be honorary pallbearers.
Friends may call on Saturday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
