MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

It was a hateful act on a day when most everyone was feeling the love. Now, Montgomery CrimeStoppers wants your help to put a couple of robbery suspects in jail.

It was the end of what has been a busy and fruitful day for the folks at Edible Arrangements on Zelda Road. Valentine's Day is always a good one at the shop that offers fresh fruit arrangements.

But on the day most people celebrate love and affection, a pair of robbers where showing anything but the goodness of their hearts. It was just before midnight on February 14 at the shop at 3000 Zelda. The staff was closing up.

That's when two armed men dressed in black pants and hoodies, wearing skeleton masks, came in demanding money.

"I never really saw that coming," said Edible Arrangements' Jarron Burdette. "It was the last thing on my mind after that holiday that something like that was going to happen."

The robbers took off out the back door with the cash.

Now, police are asking anyone with information that could help them solve the crime to call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
