Man shot overnight in south Toledo

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

An officer on the scene confirmed with WTOL 11, a man was shot early Sunday morning in south Toledo.

Investigators say it happened on Detroit Avenue, near Arlington Avenue.

The victim, Christopher Wealleans, was taken to the hospital in a car, not by EMS.

His condition has not been released.

Police are still investigating the incident.
